Have a crop of unwanted dandelions in your yard?

Here is a creative, tasty way to use that pesky plant!

1. The first thing you will need to do is pick the dandelions. Make sure they are dandelions, and not some other plant that could possibly be harmful to humans.

We will now use the leaves to make a healthy, dandelion tea.

1. pick all the leaves off the dandelions
2. Wash the leaves very thoroughly. ( you won't want a poisonous drink)
3. Now that the leaves are ready, you will need to dry them out so that they are nice and brittle.
Here is how to dry them out:
(If you have a dehydrator,  that will work best. Just Dehydrate them until they are very crisp.)
The best way to dry them out is to sun-dry them or to put them in a bag with wholes in it
(If these don't work for you, just Google how and find a solution that fits you)
4. After the leaves are very crisp, put them in a mug of very hot (do not boil) water.
5. Poor the leaves and hot water through a strainer into another mug.
6. You can add honey or even lemon to have a delicious tea that you have prepared!

Hope you can now look forward to the spring dandelions!

    1. It is actually pretty good. You can also make dandelion syrup and dandelion salad! They all take a while to make, but its lots of fun.
